The story happened at the grass field that next to the walking path. The field was usually used by the baseball team in the school, there were no other people who went to the grass except them. In the field, there was a tree, but it wasn't existed in the past.
The story began in 10 years ago. In the world of fairy, before turning the age of 118 tear old, the fairies have to go to the human world and study like college students. Each school will be assigned to 300 to 500 fairies. The goals of fairies going to human world was to get a degree, and make friends. Although there's no rules of fairies having human lovers, the fairies all know that they have to say goodbye to the human world until 125 year old, so they can decide whether to be a mortal human or a immortal fairy.
The female fairy named Autumn, she was really excited about going to the human world tomorrow. She couldn't fall asleep because she was too excited about it. Her friends were all excited about it too. Last night she and her friends were just talking about how many handsome guys there would be in the human world. But they all know it was just temporary love. They still looking forward to experienced the feelings of dating a human.
"It's tomorrow", Autumn screamed in her thought. Fairies went through a door and entered in the human world. Autumn opened her eyes and she saw the name of the school, "YZU...huh?", she never heard of this school in the fairy world. As she entering the school, she realized that this school wasn't that big, it was pretty small compare with other schools. But she was still excited about the semester. She was curies about everything, she had walked around the areas that surrounded the school. She tried to join the club, though she met a lot of people, they didn't become friends who can accompany with. But she did make friends with her room mates, somehow she still felt lonely.
When she felt alone, she would go to the grass field to have lunch, read a book or just listen to music and look at the sky. She wondered why there was no one here, since here was the place as a piece of heaven. There were zero noises and the weather is so comfortable, but no one seems to appreciate a day like this. And then, she saw a boy was eating lunch like her at the other side of the field. She wanted to go said hi, but she was too shy. As she was going to give up, the boy walked to her way and started to talk to her.
Since then, they became friends that talk about everything. They went to the grass field all the time. They did a lot of things at there, they went on picnics at the lunch time; they played badminton in there free time; they sang songs together and nobody would notice. It had been the best time in Autumn's life.
Then, four years had past, the day of leaving was getting closer and closer. Autumn said to the boy, that she wanted to plant a tree at the grass field as the memory of graduation. The boy agreed. Autumn said to the boy, that she would go to other country to keep studying for 3 years. She wished that the boy could met her under this tree after three years at the same day, and she had something very important that she wanted to tell her. The boy joked, the seed won't be so quick to grow to a tree. Autumn smiled and said, "You'll see."
Through these three years in human world, Autumn took care the tree everyday. She made the sky rained and sunny again, even used her magic powers to make the tree grew bigger and bigger. She decided to be a mortal species, she wanted to be a human; she wanted to be with the boy forever.
As the day had came, she hid behind the tree and waited for the boy to come. Then she saw the boy, but there was someone beside him. It was a girl that he was holding hand with. Autumn ran away as fast as she could, then she suddenly stopped, she turned around and looked at the boy for the very last time. She saw the boy was laughing with the girl, they looked so happy, just like they used to be. Autumn smiled, and walked away.
